A deposit or initial payment is required before work begins.

For larger projects, payments may be divided into agreed milestones.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • The initial payment is required before work begins.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before the completed website is launched or transferred to the client.
  • Additional services must be paid for according to the agreed terms.

Junigo reserves the right to pause work where an agreed payment is overdue.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing the information and materials reasonably required to complete the project.

This may include:

  • Business information
  • Website content
  • Images
  • Logos
  • Brand guidelines
  • Product information
  • Login credentials
  • Domain and hosting information
  • Feedback and approvals

The client confirms that they have the necessary rights or permissions to use any content, images, logos, documents, or other materials provided to Junigo.

Junigo is not responsible for delays resulting from missing or late content, information, approvals, or access credentials.

6. Website Content

Unless specifically included in the selected package, clients are responsible for providing the written content for their website.

Where Junigo provides copywriting, image sourcing, product uploads, or other content services, these services may be subject to additional fees.

Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving content before publication.

7. Design and Revisions

Website packages may include a specified number of revisions or reasonable design adjustments.

A revision means a change to an existing design or element within the agreed project scope.

Requests for substantial redesigns, new functionality, additional pages, or changes to previously approved work may be treated as additional work and may incur additional charges.

The client is responsible for reviewing designs and providing feedback within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Project Timelines

Junigo will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the estimated timeframe provided.

Project timelines are estimates and may change depending on:

  • Project complexity
  • Client response times
  • Delays in receiving content or approvals
  • Third-party services
  • Technical issues
  • Changes to the project scope

Junigo is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.

9. Website Launch

The completed website will normally be launched or transferred after the agreed project requirements have been completed and the applicable balance has been paid.

Junigo may withhold the final launch, transfer, or delivery of project files where payment remains outstanding.

10. Website Ownership and Access

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client will receive access to the completed website after all outstanding project payments have been received.

Third-party themes, plugins, software, stock images, fonts, or other licensed materials remain subject to their respective licensing terms.

Where third-party products require ongoing subscriptions or licences, the client is responsible for maintaining those subscriptions unless otherwise agreed.

11. Domains and Hosting

Domain registration and web hosting may be purchased by the client directly or arranged with assistance from Junigo.

Unless otherwise agreed, the client remains responsible for:

  • Domain renewal fees
  • Hosting fees
  • Email hosting fees
  • Premium plugin or theme licences
  • Third-party subscriptions

Junigo is not responsible for website downtime caused by the client’s hosting provider, domain registrar, software provider, or other third-party service.

12. Website Migration

Where Junigo is hired to move an existing website to another hosting provider, reasonable care will be taken to preserve the website and its content.

However, migration can involve technical risks, including compatibility issues, outdated software, database problems, or hosting configuration issues.

The client is responsible for providing accurate access information and authorising the migration.

Where possible, a backup should be created before migration begins.

13. Business Email Services

Junigo may assist with setting up or migrating business email accounts using third-party services such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or other email providers.

The availability, functionality, storage limits, pricing, and policies of these services are controlled by the relevant third-party provider.

Third-party email subscription fees are separate from Junigo’s service fees unless explicitly included in a quotation.

14. SEO Services

Junigo may provide basic or enhanced SEO services as part of selected website packages or as an additional service.

SEO can improve a website’s technical structure, content, and search visibility; however, Junigo does not guarantee:

  • A specific Google ranking
  • A specific position in search results
  • A specific amount of website traffic
  • A specific number of leads or sales

Search engine algorithms and ranking factors are controlled by search engines and may change without notice.

15. Website Maintenance

Website maintenance services may include updates, backups, security checks, performance optimisation, content updates, and technical support depending on the selected maintenance plan.

Maintenance plans do not necessarily include:

  • Major redesigns
  • New website functionality
  • Extensive content creation
  • New pages beyond the agreed allowance
  • Major troubleshooting caused by third-party changes
  • Extensive malware recovery
  • Complete website redevelopment

Additional work may be quoted separately.

16. Third-Party Services

Junigo may use or recommend third-party services and software to provide certain website features.

These may include:

  • Hosting providers
  • Domain registrars
  • Payment processors
  • Email platforms
  • Analytics services
  • Plugins
  • Themes
  • Security services
  • Booking platforms
  • Social media platforms

Junigo is not responsible for changes, outages, pricing, policies, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers.

17. Security

Junigo takes reasonable measures to build and maintain secure websites.

However, no website or online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Clients are responsible for maintaining secure passwords and protecting their account credentials.

Junigo is not responsible for security breaches resulting from compromised client accounts, weak passwords, third-party services, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

18. Backups

Where backups are included in a maintenance plan or specifically purchased, Junigo will make reasonable efforts to maintain backups according to the agreed service.

Clients are encouraged to maintain their own independent backups of important website content and business information.

Junigo cannot guarantee that a backup will be available or successfully restore every element of a website in every circumstance.

19. Cancellation

Either party may request cancellation of a project or ongoing service.

Cancellation of a project does not automatically entitle the client to a refund for work already completed or services already provided.

Any refund will be handled according to the Junigo Refund Policy and the specific terms agreed for the project.

20. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy.

Because web design and digital services often involve customised work performed specifically for a client, payments for completed work may not be refundable.

Clients should review the Refund Policy before making a payment.

21. Intellectual Property

The client is responsible for ensuring that all materials supplied to Junigo may legally be used.

This includes:

  • Text
  • Photographs
  • Logos
  • Graphics
  • Videos
  • Product information
  • Other copyrighted materials

Junigo does not claim ownership of materials supplied by the client.

Ownership or licensing of custom website designs, graphics, code, themes, plugins, and other materials created or supplied by Junigo will be determined by the project agreement and applicable third-party licences.

22. Portfolio Use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Junigo may display completed website projects in its portfolio, website, social media, or promotional materials for the purpose of demonstrating its work.

Clients who do not wish their project to be displayed publicly may request this in writing.

23. Limitation of Liability

Junigo will make reasonable efforts to provide professional and reliable services.

However, Junigo is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or business losses arising from the use of a website or digital service, including loss of revenue, customers, data, or business opportunities.

Junigo is not responsible for failures caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including third-party service outages, hosting failures, cyberattacks, domain issues, internet outages, or changes to third-party platforms.

24. Force Majeure

Junigo will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing services caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.

These circumstances may include natural disasters, power or internet outages, government actions, major technical failures, cyber incidents, illness, or failures of third-party service providers.

25. Changes to These Terms

Junigo may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be published on this website and will include an updated “Last Updated” date.

For existing projects, any significant changes affecting the agreed project terms will not override specific written agreements already made with the client unless otherwise agreed.

26. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are intended to be interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of Barbados, unless another jurisdiction is expressly agreed in writing between Junigo and the client.
